iARTs ZUYD - The Taste of Artificial Intelligence

Especially for PAS, a presentation of A.I. projects of students from the Interdisciplinary Arts programme at ZUYD (iARTs). In 2019, Max Wind—on behalf of the chair of technologydrivenart.org—wrote the book The Artistic Taste of Artificial Intelligence. It immediately became the theme of a series of classes.  

If A.I. is so smart anyway, what would it enjoy? What kind of art stimulates A.I.? And how do young artists create work that arises at the intersection of A.I. and our natural clumsiness? How does A.I. make fun of our awkward virtuosity and romantic desire for a ‘real’ experience? 

Showcased are samples of five years of creative drive through the lens of A.I. Five years of 'Thinking with our Hands.' Because in the end, A.I. doesn’t have hands.
